Breaking
new ground within a society that is also changing is filled with
challenges. The discovery of new approaches to supporting
older adults with a developmental disability uncovers a number of
implementation issues. Moreover, there are broad systemic
changes such as the introduction of the LHIN structure for health
planning that have implications for supporting quality of life.
OPADD, through the ADD Trillium Project
continues to build our capacity to think within these new developments.
Activities and dialogue are documented in OPADD reports, discussion
papers and reference documents, most of which are posted to the OPADD
website and available freely for viewing and download. OPADD
updates, newsletters, reports and papers can be found by clicking
on the News/Resources Button on this web site.
